Anne Tavoletti is a decorative artist and illustrator from Pennsylvania. Growing up in a family of artists, Tavolettti explored art making at a young age. Tavoletti received an associate’s degree in Fashion illustration from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Although an extensive amount of her illustrations explore fashion, she is fascinated with folk art. Some of the artists that have influenced her work include Mary Cassatt, John Singer Sargent, and Rene Gruau. Tavoletti’s preferred media are acrylics, watercolors, and ink. She currently lives and works in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
